Eat well, Move More and Live Longer.
The British government is launching a £275m marketing campaign to tackle the obesity crisis with a TV ad that aims to kick start a “lifestyle revolution” and be on the scale of Make Poverty History and Comic Relief.
The TV ad, which breaks tomorrow, was timed to coincide with health-related new year pledges made in the wake of festive over-indulgence.

Leucan celebrates 30 years
On November 26, as part of the launch celebrations of its 30th anniversary, Leucan unveiled its new signature “count on me.” (compte sur moi). Developed by the agency Atypic, this signature reflects the mission to accompany and support Leucan towards children with cancer and their families. The campaign will decline in print advertisements, radio and display throughout the winter and spring 2009. Atypic has also directed the advertising campaign surrounding the announcement of a Simple Plan benefit concert, which will take place next March 14 at Ski Bromont (www.defiski.com). The launch of 30th anniversary celebrations and announcement of the benefit concert were the subject of a press conference, also orchestrated by Atypic, in the presence of the spokesperson, actress Michele Barbara Pelletier.
Pas de boucane dans ma cabane
Toast created the new campaign Famille sans fumée d’Acti-Menu under the theme «Pas de boucane dans ma cabane». Famille sans fumée is an annual program that supports families participating in their aim to maintain or convert their living environment to a smokeless one. The platform is available in both French and English (Take your butt outside from Smoke-Free Family) on several promotional items, including posters, bags, brochure, website, radio and television commercial. The goal of the campaign is to raise awareness of the program and especially to attract the attention of Quebecers on the importance of smoking cessation.
